Bhagat wins squash title

Bangalore: Dhru Bhagat of Indus International School picked up the senior boys' squash title, at the JASE Invitational Interschool Cup here on Wednesday, after defeating Sumair Sachdev of Mallya Aditi International School 5-11, 11-3, 11-8 in the final. Aakash Biradar of Sarala Birla Academy, meanwhile, was crowned the junior boys' champion.

The results: Finals:

Boys: Senior: Squash: Dhru Bhagat (Indus IS) bt Sumair Sachdev (MAIS) 5-11, 11-3, 11-8; Table tennis (team championship): JIRS bt SKCH 3-0.

Junior: Squash: Aaakash Biradar (Sarala Birla Academy) bt Karan Arora (TISB) 11-6, 7-11, 11-7.

Badminton (team championship): JIRS bt Jain Vidyaniketan 2-1. Table tennis: DPS bt SKCH 3-1.

Girls: Senior: Squash: Ishani Pandya (JIRS) bt Lizera Vaz (JIRS) 11-5, 11-6.

Throwball: JKV bt Jain Vidyaniketan 25-19, 23-25, 15-7.

Junior: Badminton: VSA bt Jain Vidyaniketan 2-1. Table tennis: DPS bt Jain PS 3-0 .
