Agricultural expo begins

Tiruvannamalai: A two-day expo cum seminar on agriculture hosted by Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) began here on Thursday.

Inaugurating the event, Food Minister E.V.Velu listed the measures taken by the DMK regime for the welfare of farmers and development of agriculture.

Collector M.Rajendran said that Tiruvannamalai district was lauded by the Chief Minister for executing System of Rice Intensification method well while several other districts failed.
