Pragnya to be taken to ayurvedic hospital

Staff Reporter

Mumbai: A special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act court on Thursday allowed Malegaon blast-accused Sadhvi Pragnya Singh Thakur to be shifted to an ayurvedic hospital here, defence lawyer Ganesh Sovani told TheHindu.

“The sadhvi wanted to be shifted to an ayurvedic hospital as she was undergoing ayurvedic treatment in Nashik for more than six months,” he said.

“The government hospital could not provide physiotherapy . She prefers ayurveda as there are no side-effects.”
