I-T raid on Rajasthan real estate colonisers

JAIPUR: A search and seizure operation carried out by the Investigation Directorate, Jaipur, in Kishangarh town of Rajasthan's Ajmer district on one of the leading real estate colonisers and developers on Thursday and Friday led to the surrender of an unaccounted income of Rs.15 crore. The group is also in the business of marble.

Launched on the direction of Poonam Kishore Saxena, Director-General of Income Tax (Investigation), Rajasthan, and Sunil Verma, Director of I-T (Investigation), Jaipur, the operation was conducted at two premises and survey was done at three other premises. The Investigation Directorate spokesman said the search team comprised 50 personnel including officials from Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Bikaner and police personnel.
