Chittoor: The Congress government in the State under the stewardship of Chief Minister Rosaiah is in a disarray and is not in a position to govern the State, said Yerran Naidu, Telugu Desam Party politburo member. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday he said the government was not in a position to attend to the problems of people. Though government was indirectly levying taxes and collecting crores of rupees, it failed to reimburse fees to the students and also implement the welfare measures initiated by the former chief minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, he charged. The Congress leaders and Ministers were quarrelling among themselves, thereby neglecting the development and welfare of the people. The self respect of the Telugu people was mortgaged to Delhi leaders and they are dictating terms to the Chief Minister K. Rosaiah, he said. He demanded the Chief Minister to step down in view of the adverse High Court judgment regarding the Outer Ring Road case. TDP leaders Mahadeva Naidu, B.N. Rajasimhulu and V. Surendra Kumar were present.
