BANGALORE: A mother and two children were found dead in the water sump inside their house in Kumaraswamy Layout Police limits here on Friday. The police gave the names of the victims as Jayalakshmi (27), wife of Nanjappa, her daughter, Anusha (5), and son, Jagadish (18 months). Nanjappa is working with a private automobile manufacturing company in Bidadi and is living with his in-laws. While Jayalakshmi and Nanjappa were residing in the ground floor of the house in Rajyotsavanagar, her father Rayanna was living with his family on the first floor. Jayalakshmi's children were said to be closely attached to Rayanna. When he did not get to see the grandchildren on Friday morning, he went in search of them. The bodies were found in the sump, which was located within the house, the police said. Rayanna, however, said he did think his son-in-law Nanjappa was involved in it. Kumaraswamy Layout police have registered a case and are investigating.
