History-sheeter stabbed to death

BANGALORE: A 35-year-old history-sheeter was stabbed to death by an armed gang at Ashwath Nagar in the Hennur police station limits here on Sunday night.

The dead has been identified as Afsar alias Syed Afsar of Hennur.

Afsar had attended some religious meetings on Sunday and was chatting with his friends when the accused attacked him with lethal weapons, sources of the Hennur police station said.
