Three Indians for WC finals

KOLKATA: For the first time India will be represented by three archers in the finals of a World Cup. Jayanta Talukdar (men's recurve), Deepika Kumari and Dola Banerjee (women's recurve) will leave for Edinburgh on Tuesday.

With the world body, FITA, increasing the number of finalists to eight, including a wild card entry to the host nation in each of the four sections, this will be the first time that India will have three archers. — Special Correspondent
