Five MLAs seek action against Ravindra Reddy

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Five Congress MLAs from Kadapa district have demanded action against former Minister D. L. Ravindra Reddy for his tirade against former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy's alleged corruption and dragging the name of AICC president Sonia Gandhi into the controversy.

MLAs – K.Srinivasulu (Railway Kodur), C. Adinarayana Reddy (Jammalamadugu), Gandikota Srikanth Reddy (Rayachoti), A.Amarnath Reddy (Rajampet) and P. M. Kamalamma (Badvel) in a complaint sent to the AICC general secretary M. Veerappa Moily on Tuesday referred to the malicious campaign by the former Minister against late YSR. They pointed out that Dr. Ravindra Reddy after his meeting with the party president reportedly leaked information to select media alleging that Ms. Sonia Gandhi was unhappy with Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy. The MLAs contended that by levelling such allegations against the late leader, Dr. Ravindra Reddy had dragged Ms. Gandhi into the controversy.
