Mixed luck for India

CHENNAI: India had mixed luck, losing one match and winning another, in the 15th Asian junior women's volleyball championship being held at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from Sept.12.

India, placed in Pool ‘C' along with Chinese Taipei, Thailand and Fiji, lost to Chinese Taipei 18-25, 12-25, 19-25 on the opening day.

On Monday, India defeated Fiji 25-8, 25-12, 25-20. India plays Thailand next.
