RANCHI: Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda, heading a BJP-led coalition government, won the trust vote in the Assembly on Tuesday, three days after he was sworn in. He secured 45 votes, and 30 members voted against the motion. The strength of the House came down to 80 from 82 after the deaths of Congress MLA Gopal Nath Shahdeo and nominated member of the Anglo-Indian community Joseph P. Galstaun. Mr. Munda also got the backing of Glen Joseph Galstaun, whose nomination to replace his father was approved by the Cabinet on Monday evening.
