PBG-Artillery Combine wins Bison Trophy

HYDERABAD: President's Body Guard-Artillery Combine blanked National Defence Academy ‘A' by 11 1\2 to 0 goals in the final of the Bison Trophy of the Hyderabad Polo Season at Bison Polo Grounds here on Tuesday.

PBG-Artillery which started with a minus-three goal deficit against its opponents , was off to an impressive start with Mahender Singh opening the account in the first chukker itself and very soon Risaldar Ramesh was on target with two goals.

The story was no different in the second chukker when Mahender Singh was back in his scoring act. In the third and fourth chukkers, Ramesh scored four more goals and Jasmail three to steer PBG-Artillery Combine to an impressive win.

Brig B. A. Prasad, VSM, Deputy General Officer Commanding, Bison Division, & Vice-chairman of Bison Riding & Polo Institute, gave away the prizes.

CL T-20 live on 3-G
