Good knock by Khaleel

HYDERABAD: Ibrahim Khaleel's 90 (8x4, 2x6) helped Hyderabad Cricket Association make 364 for eight against Kerala on the first day of the third round matches of the Coromandel King all-India Moin-ud-Dowla Gold Cup cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

Khaleel, who displayed sound temperament and stroke selection, added 129 for the sixth wicket with Ahmed Quadri.

In another match, fine bowling by Amol Shinde (five for 65) and T. Suman (three for 14) helped HCA Colts restrict Goa to 260.

The scores (third round):

Goa 260 (Shagun Kamat 34, Ninad Bawaskar 73, Regan Pinto 86 n.o., Amol Shinde five for 65, T. Suman three for 14) vs HCA Colts zero for no loss in 0.3 overs. HCA 364 for eight (Ibrahim Khaleel 90, Ahmed Quadri 52, Anoop Pai 35, Danny Derek Prince 34, J. Anshu Lal 31, Antaf four for 96, Sanuth four for 80) vs Kerala.

Jharkhand 91 for two in 24 overs (Siddharth Raj Singh 60 batting) vs Tamil Nadu.

Andhra 150 for four (L.N. Prasad Reddy 70, A.S.K. Verma 53) vs HCA President's XI.
