Ashutosh loses

NEW DELHI: Ashutosh Singh in partnership with Amir Weintraub of Israel went down 6-7(4), 7-5, 7-10 in the doubles quarterfinals of the $15,000 ITF men's Futures tennis tournament in Mulhouse, France.

The Indo-Israeli combination had beaten Aurelien Febvay and Thomas Le BOuch of France 6-3, 6-4 in the first round.

In singles, Ashutosh lost to the second-seeded Matthias Bachinger of Germany 1-6, 4-6 in the first round.
