Man arrested under National Security Act

CUTTACK: The Cuttack city police has booked a person of the city under provisions of National Security Act (NSA). The Mangalabag police on Wednesday night executed a warrant against Biswanath Behera alias Tutu and arrested him from Ranihat area. Police also seized a mouser and two live bullets from his possession.

Massive drive

Nearly 10 cases, including murder, firing and bombing charges were pending against him in different police stations of the city, informed the local police inspector P.K. Rath.

It was learnt that the Commissionerate of Police have decided to launch a massive drive to execute all pending warrants against the criminals of the city .

Three arrested

In another development, the SCB medical college campus police outpost on Thursday arrested three motorcycle-lifters from the hospital campus .
