Students join hands to fight social evils

BANGALORE: On World Democracy Day on September 15, nearly 250 children participated in a civic awareness initiative of the Chain of Awareness by Children's Movement for Civic Awareness at Town Hall.

“In India, we still have many battles to be fought against poverty and apathy,” said Fr. Ambrose Pinto, Principal, St. Joseph's Arts and Science College.

“Not adhering to traffic rules and creating public nuisance amounts to ignorance,” said Ankith Bohra of Prasiddhi School.
