BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Thursday directed the Principal Secretary of the Education Department to be personally present in court in relation to grant of affiliation to two courses the Government had given to a private institution in Bangalore.

Justice S. Abdul Nazir passed the order on a petition by Ganga Kaveri Institute of Science and Management which had questioned the refusal by Bangalore University to grant affiliation to MIB (Master of International Business) and MBA courses which it has started anew.
