back to roots: Chief Minister K. Rosaiah speaking at Earth Hospital, a multi-specialty Ayurvedic facility, on Sunday. HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K. Rosaiah on Sunday underscored the need for creating awareness about Ayurveda system of medicine and called for reviving its importance in the State. Inaugurating Earth Hospital, a multi-specialty Ayurvedic facility here, he said Ayurveda was a scientific system and has the capability of curing ailments on a permanent basis over a long period. He said people in their eagerness to get quick relief were seeking allopathic treatment. Those aware of Ayurveda's potential did not prefer other modes of treatment like allopathy, homeopathy and unani. He lauded the Earth Hospital Group for opening a facility here. A hospital press release said that apart from regular massage, it offers treatment for chronic ailments, including diabetes, disorders of skin and joints. It will also provide Ayurvedic remedy for migraine and asthma among others. It said the group hails from traditional ‘ Kurias Visha-Vaidya” family and assures customers of quality treatment by adhering to principles of Ayurvedic science. It planned to open three more such facilities in the State. Health Minister Danam Nagender and Congress MLAs Uttam Kumar Reddy and Jayasudha were also present.
