Roshan shines
THIRUVALLA: A fine all-round performance by Roshan Raju (52 and four for 32) enabled Pathanamthitta to take the first innings lead against Kottayam in the South Zone under-14 inter-district cricket tournament at the Public stadium here on Monday.
Batting first, Roshan's half-century enabled Pathanamthitta reach 154 after Sijumon (five for 57) did the damage with the ball. Akhil Anil (five for 22) and Roshan Raju (four for 32) shared the spoils as Kottayam was bundled out for 84.
The scores: Pathanamthitta 154 in 46 overs (Roshan Raju 52, Subin 45, Sijumon five for 57) and 32 for one in 15 overs v Kottayam 84 in 37 overs (Akhil Ani five for 22, Roshan Raju four for 32) .
