Order on entry of lawyers into HC modified

HYDERABAD: The Division Bench of the High Court comprising Justice V.Eswariah and Justice Naushad Ali on Monday modified the order pertaining to entry of advocates into the High Court.

The bench had earlier issued directions to regulate the entry of advocates litigant public, staff, etc. It had initiated proceedings suo motu. The advocates association filed a petition to modify the conditions. G.Vidyasagar appeared on behalf of the advocates association and demonstrated how the work would suffer if the restrictions were too stringent. Now, advocates who produce ID cards issued by either the Bar Council or the High Courts Advocates Association will be permitted into the premises. They need not assert their identity near the court halls.
