City teenager killed in road accident in US

HYDERABAD: Tragedy struck the family of a Congress leader from Uppal when his 17-year-old son was killed in a road accident in Florida in the US having flown there on a holiday trip 10 days ago.

Congress leader R. Laxma Reddy is the GHCM Congress secretary. His son, R. Venkata Sai Reddy, and daughter, Mounica Reddy, flew to the US on a holiday trip. The brother-sister duo started off from Florida on the evening of September 9 in a Nissan Sentra being driven by their relative. The car crashed into a median near Kennedy Space Center before plunging into Indian river.
