‘Expedite approvals for clinical trials'

HYDERABAD: The Association of Clinical Research Organisations (ACRO) wants the Drug Controller General (India) to expedite approvals for clinical trials in India as it was taking around six months to grant them at present.

John Lewis, vice-president of public affairs, ACRO and Simon Britton, vice-president, Clinical Development Asia Pacific, PDP, said the issue would be taken up shortly with DGCI.
