NGO donates water tank

SALEM: Lloyd's Register Asia, a non-governmental organisation, has donated a purified drinking water tank at a cost of Rs 1.5 lakh for the benefit of children of Valluvar Kalvi Nilayam Primary School at Shanmuga Nagar here.

A press release that was issued here says that Area Manager K. Swaminathan and Operations Manager P. Bramma of the Organisation donated it.

K. R. Uthaman presided over the function. School committee chairman K. Kannaiyan and Manager N. Dineshram spoke on the occassion.
