Roshan helps Chennai win
Bangalore: Kendriya Vidyalaya, Chennai defeated Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhubaneswar by 58 runs in a Group ‘A', boys' under-16 cricket match, on the opening day of the 41st All-India K.V. Sanghatan sports meet, here on Tuesday. Roshan's 54 enabled Chennai to post 151 runs in its 16 overs, in reply to which Bhubaneswar could only manage a score of 93.
The meet itself will be formally inaugurated only on Wednesday.
The scores:
Group A: KV Chennai 151 for five in 16 overs (Roshan 54) bt KV Bhubaneswar 93 for seven in 16 overs.
Group C: KV Bangalore 158 for seven in 16 overs (Pavan 47) bt KV Jammu 118 for seven in 16 overs .
