OU-JAC burns Ministers' effigies

Special Correspondent

Hyderabad: Osmania University Students Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC) burnt the effigy of the three Ministers, Danam Nagender, Mukesh Goud and Damodar Rajnarsimha, on the OU campus for criticising some Congress members of Parliament in the Cabinet meeting.

The OU JAC leader Kailash Netha and others questioned the motive behind criticising Madhu Yaskhi, Gutta Sukhender Reddy, G. Vivek and Manda Jagannadham, who they said were actively participating in the Telangana movement.

Mr. Kailash said the Ministers instead of criticising the MPs should clear their stand on the Telangana issue first. He said OU JAC was of the opinion that they were acting at the behest of some Coastal Andhra leaders. These Ministers never spoke on withdrawing the cases against Telangana students.
