Ganapathi Sachchidananda arrives at Tirumala

TIRUPATI: Datta Peethadipati, Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji arrived at Tirumala, on Friday on a two-day pilgrimage to the temple of Lord Venkateswara.

The pontiff arrived with his entourage on the last leg of his tour in Andhra Pradesh. The Swamiji is on his way back to Mysore where his Peetham is loctaed. After an overnight stay at Tirumala, he is expected to offer prayers at the Tirumala temple Saturday morning. The pontiff would be rounding off his tour in Andhra Pradesh later in the day with the darshan of Varasiddhi Vinayaka at Kanipakkam, near Chittoor about 70 kms from here. Earlier, on his arrival at the TTD guest house in Tirumala, the Swamiji was extended a warm welcome by the TTD's Tirumala-based Officer on Special Duty, Chinnamgari Ramana and the disciples of the Peetham.
