Pay taxes before September 30: Corporation

COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore Corporation has asked people in the city to pay by September 30 Property Tax, drinking water consumption charges and other taxes for the first half-yearly period (March to September) of the 2010-2011 financial year.

Arrears accumulated over the previous financial years should also be paid before September 30, the Corporation said in a press release on Friday. The Corporation said it would disconnect the drinking water lines of those who did not meet the deadline.
