Godrej Security Solutions has come out ‘Eagle-I', a new range of wireless burglar and fire alarm system which rings an alarm in real time if it senses any kind of intrusion. The system has been described as tamper proof and one that can intelligently sense different emergencies such as fire, intrusion and also medical emergency and raises an alarm accordingly. This system has easy to use LCD display and is made to suit Indian markets. Apart from being dust proof and equipped with long battery life to counter load shedding issues, it is tamper proof and programmed to sound different alerts according to the emergency. The key features of the system include automatic dialling facility wherein it dials the pre-fed numbers in case of an alarm, ability to store 20 event log, visual and aural annunciation of system alerts and alarms and intrusion fire medical alert. Eagle-i is also equipped with automatic dialling facility where different phone numbers can be configured for each alert, so the right person gets the call depending on the emergency, such as fire dept in case of fire, doctor in case of medical emergency etc. The systems cost Rs.17,000 onwards. On the new range of alarm systems, Mehernosh Pithawala, General Manager, Godrej Security Solutions says, “Godrej Eagle-i provides consumers with high utility efficient safety system which are easy to use and install ”.
