Film shooting affects traffic

Staff Correspondent

HUBLI: Vehicular movement around Kittur Channamma Circle in Hubli was affected for more than three hours on Saturday owing to the shooting of a Kannada film.

The shooting for the Prajwal-starrer Kote began early in the morning when there was not much traffic around. However, as the day progressed, a large number of people gathered at the circle to see the shoot.

The police had a tough time controlling the crowd. A large number of school and college students also arrived at the circle by noon.

Many people were seeing the shoot from the balconies of adjoining buildings.

At one point, police used their canes to clear the crowd for making way for vehicles that were moving at a snail's pace. The shooting concluded in the afternoon.
