Stress on Gandhian principles

CHENNAI: Societies exist in time, and live in constant awareness of the past and future. It is unfortunate that when the whole world is rising up to Mahatma Gandhi and embracing his principles, modern India no longer accommodates his lessons in its growth story. V. R. Devika, managing trustee of the Aseema Trust, said this while delivering the Rukmini Lakshmipathy endowment lecture on ‘Gandhian communication for transformation', organised at the Women's Christian College here on Friday.
