Arrest of Orissa murder accused demanded

BERHAMPUR: Ganjam district unit of the CPI demanded arrest of the main accused behind the murder of their party leader and Chatrapur block chairman Simanchal Reddy as early as possible.

They also demanded transfer of police officials alleged to be trying to hush up the case. The Ganjam district unit of the CPI has threatened to take up protest demonstration in front of the office of the Ganjam Superintendent of Police (SP) at Chatrapur from Monday if the main culprits behind the murder were not arrested.
