Spice up theme parties with fun stuff

Exciting:A variety of fun items meant for theme-based parties.

HYDERABAD: Got a party to plan, invited to a fancy or theme get-together or just plain fun. The idea or theme could be anything from Halloween, pirate to a king-queen or 1960s or 1970s, one is forced to hit the market and go around searching for right costume and right accessories.

Stocking a wide and varied accessories and costumes is the store Kirtana Party Mania in the lane opposite GVK1 on Banjara Hills.

Here, the range of masks is quite alluring and come in different material right from feathers to metal while one can browse through an entire array of wigs that are presented in different colours and length.

Those wanting either long haired wig or ones that come with spikes will not be disappointed to.

If hats are what one is looking for, then from pirate, cowboy, octopus, uncle king cap, a choice can be made in the range of Rs.250 to Rs.650.

For a Halloween theme, from skirt to wrist band and garland, the entire need is taken care of and if one is keen on going really scary, horror theme masks and appropriate fancy weapons too can be looked for.

The angel or fairy wing sets come across as cute and appealing and those looking to add a dash of glamour, a fine coloured feather boa can be the right choice.

There are big glasses too on display and the store manager Smitha points out, “these are from the 60s and 70s theme”.

And one surely finds it hard to resist the temptation of checking those lovely Red Indian headbands that peep out of the display.

“We also have fun items such as invisible ink, snow spray, colour string spray and hair colour sprays,” adds Smitha.
