Seminar for school teachers

Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation and Sankara College of Science and Commerce will jointly organise a seminar on “education and society” (kalviyum samudhayamum) at Corporation Kalai Arangam, R.S. Puram, here on September 27.

According to a corporation press release, it is expected to attract 750 teachers.

This seminar would provide a platform for the teachers to have “unprecedented vision and deep insight into the new pedagogic challenges and the solutions to create intrinsically motivated learners.”

R. Kishore Kumar, Senior Principal, St. John's International Residential School, Chennai, will be the resource person, the release said.

It is scheduled between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
