Arrested

Tirupur: The police arrested 30 persons on the charge of gambling from the district on Saturday evening.

A sum of Rs 1.5 lakh was seized from them.

Police sources said that of the accused, 21 persons were taken into custody at Udumalpet and the remaining from Tirupur South Police Station limits.
