THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Emirates SkyCargo, the air cargo division of the Emirates airline, has commenced a new weekly freighter service here using a Boeing 777 aircraft, a press release here on Sunday said. The flight from Dubai arrives here at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday and leaves for Hong Kong at 4.30 p.m. The aim is to accomplish complete customer satisfaction through innovation and refinement of service levels, V.M. Dinesh, Emirates' cargo manager, Kerala, said. The release, quoting Keki Patel, Emirates cargo manager, India and Nepal, said the introduction of the second Boeing 777 freighter on the Thiruvananthapuram route marked a new era in Emirates SkyCargo services, which carried over 2,500 tonnes of cargo a week to its Dubai hub from 10 Indian destinations.
