BANGALORE: Bhagwan Basketball Club of Gulbarga defeated Bagalkot Basketball Club 34-18 in the State under-18 basketball championship, at the Kanteerava Stadium courts here on Sunday.

Samunel top-scored for the winning side with 14 points.

The results: Nationals (Mysore) 41 (Shreyas 17, Jitendar 12) bt Rovers (Dharwad) 31 (Veeresh 10); Bhagwan BC (Gulbarga) 34 (Samunel 14) bt Bagalkot BC 18 (Gangadhar 6) .
