Karnataka wins

BANGALORE: The Karnataka girls' team defeated Gujarat 36-6 to secure its third consecutive victory and move into the knockout stages of the 37th sub-junior national basketball championship, at Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, here on Sunday.

The results:

Girls: Karnataka 36 (K. Rupashree 12, R. Sneha 8, Lopa Mudra 8) bt Gujarat 6 (A. Neha 4).

Boys: Karnataka 16 lost to Jharkhand 56 .
