University College among semifinalists
Thiruvananthapuram: The semifinalists have been spotted in the South India inter-collegiate handball tournament held at the University College handball court on Thursday.
In the men's section, defending champion University College, Annamalai Physical Education College, Farooke College and Payannur College entered the last four.
In the women's section, Assumption College, Providence College, All-Saints College and University College entered the semifinals.
The results (league):
Men: Payannur College bt Nirmala College 17-16; University College drew with Payannur College 25-25.
Women: Annamalai Physical Education College bt University College 7-4; Assumption College bt University College 10-3; All-Saints College bt Providence College 8-6 .
