Seeulee in final

BANGALORE: Third seed Seeulee Upadhyaya of Orissa entered the under-18 girls' final of the Enerzal Open All-India Talent Series tennis tournament upsetting top-seed Vidya Bharath of Karnataka 6-2, 6-1 in the semifinal here on Thursday.

In the boys' section of the draw, top-seed Sagar Manjanna of Karnataka prevailed over Rajanvir Singh Dharani of Maharashtra in the semifinals, in three sets.

Manjanna won 7-5, 5-7, 6-2 and will face third-seed S. Raghavendra in the final.

The results (semifinals):

Boys: Under-18: Sagar Manjanna (Kar) bt Rajanvir Singh Dharani (Mah) 7-5, 5-7, 6-2; S. Raghavendra (Kar) bt Darshan Shrinivas (Kar) 6-1, 6-3.

Under-14: S.D. Prajwal Dev (Kar) bt Arjun Murlidhar (Kar) 6-1, 6-1; Raswant Ravi (TN) bt S. Ganesh (TN) 5-7, 6-1, 6-2.

Girls: Under-18: Seeulee Upadhaya (Ori) bt Vidya Bharath (Kar) 6-2, 6-1; Sneha Reddy (Kar) bt S.P. Ritu (Kar) 6-0, 6-3.

Under-14: Preeti Bhandurge (Mah) bt Diana Abi (TN) 6-1, 6-1; Nupur Umashankar (Kar) bt Dhwani Kumar (Kar) 6-2, 6-4 .
