Silk Mark Expo from today

VISAKHAPATNAM: A six-day exhibition of various silk products from all over India will be conducted for the first time in the city from Friday at Swarnabharati Indoor Stadium.

Known as Silk Mark Expo, it is being organised under the aegis of Silk Mark Organisation of India (SMOI) promoted by the Central Silk Board. The exhibition, aimed at sensitising the public on genuine silk products, will be inaugurated by Meena Prabhakar, vice-president of Navy Wives' Welfare Association. The expo will showcase innovative silk products.
