Revised load shedding schedule for Nellai, Kanyakumari

It will come into effect from today

TIRUNELVELI: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has announced revised load-shedding schedule, which will come into effect from October 1.

6 a.m. to 8 a.m.: Kamatchi Nagar, Rahmath Nagar, Court area, Bell Colony, Samathanapuram, Palayamkottai Market area, Kulavanigarpuram, Kurichi, Veeramanickapuram, Aaminpuram and Melapalayam South.

8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: V.M. Chathram, Kavitha Nagar, Srinivasagam Nagar, Thentral Nagar, Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital areas, North High Ground Road, St. Xavier's College areas, Cheranmahadevi Road, Pattapaththu, Big Street, East Car Street, VOC Street, Melapalayam North, Kokkirakulam, Meenakshipuram, Thatchanallur, Nalmaeippar Nagar, Selva Vignesh Nagar, Azhaganeri, NGO ‘B' Colony, Tuckerammalpuram, Central Jail areas and new bus-stand areas.

10 a.m. to 12 noon: Maharaja Nagar, Rajendra Nagar, A.R. Line, Kunnaththur, Abhishekapatti, Rani Anna College areas, Thiruvenkatanathapuram, Gandhi Nagar, Pettai Industrial Estate, Thiruvananthapuram Road, Palayamkottai bus-stand areas, Coussanelpuram, Adaimithippaankulam, Ponnaakudi, Mela Karungulam, Munneerpallam and Tharuvai.

12 noon to 2 p.m.: KTC Nagar East, Viswarathna Nagar, VOC Nagar, Uththamapandiankulam, Sarada College areas, NGO ‘A' Colony, Perumalpuram, Pothigai Nagar, Moogambikai Nagar, Pothys Nagar and Darling Nagar.

KTC Nagar North, Shanthi Nagar, Raj Kamal Nagar, Thimmarajapuram, Kakkan Nagar and Seevalaperi Road.

2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Old Pettai, Thondar Sannidhi, Nainarkulam Road, Town Farmers' Market, Pettai, Kodeeswaran Nagar, Tirunelveli Junction, Balabhagya Nagar, Madurai Road, Udaiyaarpatti, Vannarpet, S.N. High Road and Thiyagaraja Nagar.

4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Krishnapuram, IOB Colony, V.M. Chathram East, Thaamaraiselvi, Ittaeri, Konganthaanpaarai, Sivanthipatti, Muththur, Ariyakulam, Melakulam, Naduvaikurichi, Thiruththu, Thirumalaikozhunthupuram, Keezhapaattam, Kaansaapuram, Melapaattam, Manappadaiveedu, Chettikulam, Maruthur, Tirunelveli Town Market and Arunagiri Theatre areas.

Nagercoil

According to A. Bhagavaiappan Pillai, Superintending Engineer of TNEB, following is the schedule.

From 6 a.m. to 8.: Thengamputhur, Thuckalay, Nagercoil, Thadikkaramkonam, Kanyakumari and Veyyanoor sub-stations.

From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Some parts of Veeyannor, Meenaksipuram, Marthandam, Nagercoil, Nagercoil town (south), Kuzuthurai and Chemponvilai.

From 10 a.m. to 12 noon: RV Puram at Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Thuckalay, Thadikkaramkonam and parts of Kuzuthurai.

From 12 noon to 2 p.m.: In some parts of Nagercoil, Thengampudhur , Marthandam and Kuzuthurai.

From 2 pm to 4 pm.: Some parts of Kanyakumari, Thuckalay, Pechipparai, Thengampudhur, Vallankumaravilai, Meenakshipuram, Chemponvilai and Marthandam.

From 4 pm. to 6: Few parts of Thuckalay, Munchirai, Marthandam, Pechipparai, Meenakshipuram, Kanyakumari, Vallankumaravilai, S.R.Pudhur, Chemponviali and Manavalakurichi.
