Maha sathsang on Saturday

TIRUCHI: Under the auspices of Isha Foundation, a ‘maha sathsang' will be held at the St. Joseph's College grounds in the city on Saturday.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Thillai Senthil Prabhu, zonal co-ordinator of the Foundation, said that Sathguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder , would deliver an address on ‘ananda alai' (communion with truth), the maha sathsangam was being held from Sunday last to January 2 next year at 16 centres across the state.

Tiruchi was the third centre and the final leg of the session would be held in Chennai.

As part of creating environmental awareness , the Project GreenHands, the Foundation's special branch for protecting environment, would start ‘Green Tiruchi Movement'.

The movement was being floated to plant 50,000 saplings at factory campus, schools, colleges and other places in and around Tiruchi city .

L. Lakshmanan and Sabapathy, both Coordinators, Isha Foundation, Tiruchi, said saplings would be distributed at the ‘maha sathsang' .
