RMK meets RMD
CHENNAI: RMK Engineering College and RMD Engineering College will clash in the final of the RMK rolling trophy inter-collegiate cricket tournament.
In the semi-finals, RMK, thanks to Venkat Vasan's 51, defeated Gojan College of engineering by 35 runs while RMD was helped by a hat-trick by Chella Rao to beat Raja Rajeswari Engineering College by five wickets.
The scores: Semifinals: RMK engg134 for eight in 20 overs (Venkat Vasan 51) bt Gojan College of Engg 99 for five 20 overs (Naveen Vasu three for 19)
Raja Rajeshwari Engg 103 in 16.2 overs (Chella Rao three for 21- hat trick) lost to RMD Engg 104 for five in 16.5 overs.
