SDNB wins
CHENNAI: R. Lavanya's six-wicket effort went in vain as SDNB Vaishnav defeated Shri S.S. Shasun JC by 45 runs in a match in the TNCA-women's inter-collegiate cricket tournament held here.
The scores: SDNB Vaishnav College 90 in 18.3 overs ( R. Lavanya six for 19 , L. Naveena three for 16) bt Shri S.S. Shasun J.C 45 in 16.5 overs ( M. Revathi four for 12, G. Jeevitha four for 9); Quaid-E-Millat 51 in 18.4 overs ( M.Vinithra four for18 , M.S.Shailaja three for 11) lost to Ethiraj College 52 for one in 10.1 overs.
SKPC 118 in 28.5 overs (V. Shamini three for 24, V. Seetha three for 28) lost to Chellammal Women's College 119 for two in 16.4 overs.
