Punjab & Sind Bank posts win

Pune: Punjab & Sind Bank Academy overcame a spirited Pune District Hockey Association 3-1 in a boys' pre-quarterfinal match of the 35th Junior National hockey Championship, organised by PDHA, on Friday.

The results: Pre-quarterfinals: Boys: SAIL 5 (Sushil Xalxo 2, Deepak Kullu 2, Jitendra Yadav) bt Chandigarh Academy 2 (Gurjant Singh, Kawaldeep Singh). Punjab & Sind Bank 3 (Sushil Kumar, Jaswinder Singh 2) bt PDHA 1 (Vinit Kamble) .
