WARANGAL: Congress MLA from Parkal, Konda Surekha, has expressed unhappiness over the reported statements of APCC president D. Srinivas that he would initiate action against her. In a four-page letter to Mr. Srinivas, she said she was pained at these statements and sought to know what action he took against those who were trying to damage the party. Demanding to know the reasons for the statement, she asked why action was not taken against Madhu Yashki, MP, and P. Shankar Rao, MLA, when they danced and celebrated the victory of Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the byelection. Similarly, he should spell out the action taken against V. Hanumantha Rao who had been speaking against the late YSR. “Those who have no support of people and never worked for the party are speaking a lot. Mr. Hanumantha Rao, who was nominated to the Rajya Sabha three times, never visited any district or worked for the party in byelection,” she pointed out. “Media tigers” Ms. Surekha wanted the APCC not to fear the “media tigers” and initiate action against them for working against the party. She also wanted to know what action was taken against those who went to the Governor and submitted a memorandum alleging irregularities in ‘Jalayagnam'.
