Power shutdown schedule

KRISHNAGIRI: Load-shedding schedule has been announced by the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board which came into effect from October 1.

A release said the areas that comes under the 110/33-11 KV Krishnagiri and Shoolagiri sub-stations and 33/11 KV V. Madhepalli, Krishnagiri, Chinnakothur, Aalapatti, Orappam, Kaveripattinam and Kuttigoundanur sub-stations would be given three-phase power supply six hours during day time and four hours during night on rotation basis.

Two-phase power supply will be maintained 12 hours except the load shedding period of two hours daily. Power would be shutdown two hours daily in urban areas.

Power shutdown timings is as follows:

6 a.m. to 8 a.m.: Gandhi Nagar in Kaveripattinam, Paiyur, Marichettihalli, Penneswaram Madam.

8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Krishnagiri Housing Board Phase I and II, New Bus Stand, Collectorate, Kaveripattinam and areas which comes under Shoolagiri feeder.

Except two hours, three-phase power supply will be maintained.

10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Areas that come under Madhukon feeder in Shoolagiri.

12 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Salem Main Road in Krishnagiri, Chennai Salai, Government Arts College and areas that come under Kamanthotti feeder in Shoolagiri.

4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Krishnagiri milk chilling unit, KRP Dam, Thimmapuram, Malayandaalli, Paleguli and areas under Shoolagiri ARM feeder.
