Leak rectification work to begin today

CHENNAI: The Chennai Metrowater proposes to carry out leak rectification work inside the sewage pumping station on Lattice Bridge Road.

The work will begin on Saturday at 6 p.m. and go on till 6 a.m. on Sunday. During the period, sewage pumping station will stop functioning. According to a release, sewage overflow may occur in view of the work in parts of south Chennai areas, including Thiruvanmiyur, Velachery, Kotturpuram, Nandanam, Adyar, Mylapore, Alwarpet and Pallipattu.
