HYDERABAD: Majlis Bachao Tehreek party corporator Amjedullah Khan and his supporters were arrested by the police on Friday night at their party office near Chanchalguda after they gathered at Azampura in Chaderghat in violation of prohibitory orders and staged a protest demonstration.
They burnt an effigy of Babri Masjid Action Committee advocate Zafaryab Jilani, accusing him of colluding with the Sangh Parivar, at Azampura in Chaderghat.
Amjedullah Khan and the other party activists were rounded up by the police and the Commissioner's Task Force teams when they came to the party office, and taken into custody.
