TAking stock: High Court Chief Justice Nisar Ahmad Kakru at ‘Nine Courts Building' in Sangareddy on Saturday. — SANGAREDDY: Nisar Ahmad Kakru, Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court, suggested the Bar Association of Sangareddy and others Bars in the district to help the judiciary in speedy disposal of cases. Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the newly built three-storied ‘Nine Courts Building' constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 12 crore at Sangareedy on Saturday, Justice Kukru said that the effective cooperation from the Bar Association would help the judiciary in speedy disposal of cases. He also suggested about alternative dispute resolution in addressing the cases outside the courts. Responding to the problems identified by the Bar Association president R. Manik Reddy and others regarding lack of stenographers, maintains of the court building cost, providing new furniture and establishment of another lift so that senior advocates can easily attended courts located in the upper floors of the building, Justice Kukru promised to look into these matters and respond soon. The meeting was presided by District Judge G. Shyam Prasad. Justice G. Bhavani Prasad said that the functioning of the judiciary should be in such a way that the people should not lose faith in judiciary, he said that the judicial officers should feel that it is a divine duty to do justice. Justice R. Subhash Reddy said that the delay in speedy disposal of cases was due to some legislations and amendments but not due to non- functioning of judicial officers.
